The city’s mayor proved an easy ally to Pflugerville ISD’s superintendent, who presented to City Council at its Dec. 13 meeting in search of support for the district’s lawsuit against the state education finance system.
“I personally will join the coalition and as a council we’re going to continue to support,” Mayor Jeff Coleman said. “At the end of the day, we all currently have children in the school district, or have had children graduate from the school district, and I’ve got them on both sides right now. We want the best for our district.”
