3.4.11 John Kuhn - Perrin-Whitt CISD
John KuhnJohn Kuhn, Superintendent of Perrin-Whitt CISD, recently wrote an Alamo-inspired letter to the legislature, asking them to prioritize school funding and consider the costs of accountability measures. The letter made it all the way to the Washington Post education blog. John discusses the letter, the response he’s received, and how districts must continue to spread the message.

Prior to arriving at Perrin-Whitt, Kuhn was principal at Mineral Wells High School for several years. Kuhn attended the Harvard Principals’ Leadership Institute in 2008 thanks to a grant from Raise Your Hand Texas, and he serves on the advisory council for the Texas Virtual Schools Network. He is a graduate of Tarleton State University.
