The Equity Center represents and supports the financial interests of our member districts by providing the following legislative, communications, financial and educational services.
- Provide practical and innovative solutions to school finance problems
- Offer technical assistance to member districts during budget development
- Create school finance models and customized reports with real-time data
- Produce and distribute cutting edge publications to keep members informed
- Develop school finance legislation and provide expert analysis
- Testify on key school finance issues before the Texas Legislature
- Utilize multi-media technology to communicate and educate members
- Give school finance presentations for school boards, administrators and the general public at the state, regional and local levels
