The Equity Center provides solutions to the fundamental problems Texas faces in funding public schools. In order to address these issues and provide direction, the Equity Center not only gives concise and accurate portrayals of the shortcomings of the current system. Consequently, we take the leadership role in offering solutions that will benefit the school children of Texas.
Our members count on us to pave the way with effective and reliable school finance research, analysis, and advocacy. Even though taking a stand is not always popular or easy, the Equity Center is entrusted with presenting an honest and accurate interpretation of the statewide picture of public school finance issues, along with the tough answers that can transform that picture into a fair and exceptional education for our children.
